Fun Monster themed fruit snacks to stop post Trick or Treat monster sugar crash

I love Halloween! The buzz in the neighbourhood, the kids running around in their adorable costumes, the chats with other parents, it’s such a fun arvo.

What I don’t love so much? The sugar highs and drop afterwards. Eep. You know how it goes, everyone’s hungry after the big walk in the afternoon before dinner and the lollies and chocolate in their Halloween basket disappear quicker than you like.

So this year we are trying to fill up little (and big) bellies with monster themed fruit snacks so hopefully they eat less of their lollies and chocolate in one sitting. 👀🍓

They’re quick, cute, and use whatever’s in your fruit bowl. I had apples, kiwi and bananas, so these are what I used. Some candy googly eyes and chocolate melted to stick the eyes on and that's about it. (Note: candy googly eyes is hard candy and can be choking hazard, stick to melted chocolate for younger kiddies)

We pack the Fruit Monsters into Urban Baby Stainless Steel Leakproof Bento box. Also pictured are Wee Gallery Lacing Cards.

Here's a video :)
